Hello again

Hello everyone! We are at the Doran house in Bellevue. Maui is here for a soccer tournament so now she is at our house for now. We just came back from the stupid weird house of many people by the lake and it is very large and they have a pool... So now Maui is being very funny and we are, as always, very crazy...

MOVIES

This week we (the "door-ins") visited them (the "duhr-annes") in Spokane and we made two movies!!

1. Creepy Shaky Hips Movie
2. The Root Beer Assassin (aka the Toot Beer Assassin)

We will try to post them on the blog although I doubt anyone will ever see them...

Tangled 3D

I saw Tangled again. SOOOO good. This time for my b-day with my friends. In 3D!!! If you haven't seen it yet... WHAT are you waiting for??

Birthday Time!! :)

OMG!! My birthday is in 3 days!! I'm so excited!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!
Also today is 1/11/11! The next time this will happen is 11/1/11 and 11/11/11.

Movie Review: Tangled

Tangled:
Rapunzel and Rider in the magic...hair...

On Christmas Eve we saw Disney's Tangled (PG).


It is a story about Rapunzel, but a recreation and a completely different story line. Rapunzel, a girl with magic glowing hair, is hidden in a tower by her "mother." This "mother" stole Rapunzel from the king and queen when the princess was a baby, and used her hair to become and stay young. However, when her hair is cut, Rapunzel's hair never grows back and loses all power, turning brown. As Rapunzel sneaks away from the tower she discovers that she is the lost princess...

In a story about how Eugene Fitzherbert, or Flynn Rider, dies, this happy-ending-story is fun for everyone (and has an unexpected ending, or at least he doesn't die...)

There is also a chameleon thing named Pascal.... find out for yourself :)

We encourage you to see this 4 1/2 star movie (as officially rated, not by us, but we DO agree!)

If you were planning on making cupcakes for xmas with purple frosting- heres some advice:

Cupcakes-

• put in the correct amount of salt as well as everything else.
•  Print the recipe (or copy it down right)
• double check everything.

Frosting-

• don't make it purple
• use a recipe

On the left is our "masterpiece"

we put in 6 time too much salt. Used no frosting recipe.

We also almost forgot sugar.

Please do not do the same dumb things we did.

Winter

Hello... (it's Alex)

Can you believe that it's already the first day of winter? The only problem--here in Seattle, there is NO SNOW! I wish we were still in Spokane, where there is snow...

Oh well. Just to think that we have winter break, four days until Christmas. Countless Christmas cards. SNOW :(
